- God promised that a Descendant of Eve would destroy Satan at harm to Himself. (Genesis 3:14-15)
- These descendants are the devil’s children and Christ, who came to destroy the devil’s activities (1 John 3:8)

- Adam brought death to his people, but Christ brings resurrection to His people (1 Corinthians 15:20-26)
- In Adam all die, but in Christ all will be made alive (v. 22).
- Christ reigns over His enemies through His resurrection (vss. 24-25).
- Adam was only a living being, but Christ is a life-givingspirit (1 Corinthians 15:45-49)
- Just as we’ve born Adam’s earthly image, so we’ll bear Christ’s heavenly image (v. 49).
- Faith is what unites us to Christ (John 17:20-21)
